Derika is a registered nurse who earned her BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008. She began her nursing career at Riley Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in the ER, NICU, and resource pool before transitioning to maternal-infant nursing and obtaining her Master’s in Public Health, expanding her focus on prevention and whole-person care. With over 17 years of experience, Derika is excited to focus on building meaningful patient relationships, helping individuals feel heard, and supporting long-term health and longevity.
Outside of work, you can usually find Derika with her husband, Isaac, and their twins, Noah and Eliana, either hiking or biking, tending to her ever-growing plant collection, gardening, or curled up with a good book.
