Microneedling

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses very fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries that switch on your skin’s own repair process. Offered at both our Noblesville and Greenwood locations.

We pair it with regenerative serums like PDRN and Rejuran so they reach far deeper than they could on their own, and every one of our providers performs it. You do not have to be a medical patient to book.

Rather than sitting on top of the skin the way a product does, microneedling works underneath it. The tiny channels created during treatment prompt your body to produce fresh collagen and elastin, the proteins that keep skin firm and smooth. Those same channels also let regenerative serums reach far deeper than they otherwise could, which is why we pair microneedling with PDRN or Rejuran for most patients. You do not have to be a medical patient to book, and all of our providers perform microneedling.

What Microneedling Treats

  • Acne scarring and other scars. Microneedling helps break down older scar tissue and encourages new collagen to form in its place.
  • Fine lines and wrinkles. Added collagen plumps the skin from beneath, softening lines rather than freezing them.
  • Uneven texture and tone. Controlled healing brings up smoother, more even skin over the following weeks.
  • Enlarged pores. Firmer surrounding skin makes pores appear smaller.
  • Hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Faster cell turnover helps fade post-inflammatory pigmentation.
  • Loss of firmness. Rebuilt collagen and elastin restore resilience as skin loses its natural support.

What to Expect

A typical session takes 45 to 60 minutes. Your skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied first, so most people find the treatment very manageable. Microneedling is then performed across the treatment area, and a regenerative serum is applied to the freshly treated skin while the micro-channels are still open. Expect mild redness and a sunburn-like sensation afterwards, which usually settles within one to two days. Avoid excessive heat, hot showers and saunas while your skin is healing. Over the following weeks collagen production builds and skin looks firmer, brighter and smoother. A series of sessions is usually recommended for the best result, and we will map that out with you.

Enhancements: PDRN, Rejuran, Exosomes and PRF

What makes microneedling far more than a surface treatment is what we pair it with. PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a regenerative compound that stimulates fibroblast activity, supporting tissue repair, collagen production and skin elasticity. It also carries anti-inflammatory properties that help calm redness, which makes it particularly useful for acne scarring and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Rejuran uses polynucleotide technology to repair skin from within, delivered through the same micro-channels. Both work with your own biology rather than against it, which is why results build gradually and look like better skin rather than treated skin.

Exosomes are the messengers your cells use to signal one another. Applied to the skin immediately after treatment, they pass through the fresh micro-channels and support the repair conversation already underway, which patients most often notice as calmer, more even, better-quality skin as it heals. Exosome products are used here as a topical enhancement rather than a stand-alone therapy.

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) comes from you. We draw a small amount of your blood, spin it down to concentrate your own platelets and growth factors, then apply it over the treated area so your own healing factors reach the layer the needling just opened. Because it is entirely your own biology, there is nothing foreign involved.

Which enhancement suits you depends on your skin, your goals and your budget, and that is a conversation we will have at your consultation.

The Yoo Direct Approach

We would rather build your skin properly over a few months than promise an overnight change. Microneedling rewards patience, because you are growing new collagen rather than filling or freezing anything. Your provider will look at your skin, your history and what you actually want to change, then recommend a plan and the right regenerative pairing to go with it.

Treatments are performed by experienced injectors with extensive training, focused on natural results. Microneedling is available with all of our providers at both locations, and you do not need to be a medical patient to book one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does microneedling hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, so most patients find it very tolerable. You may feel light pressure and vibration as the device passes over the skin.

How much downtime is there?

Most people have mild redness and a sunburn-like feeling that settles within one to two days. Avoid hot showers, saunas and heavy heat exposure while your skin recovers.

How many sessions will I need?

A series is usually recommended for the best result, since each session builds on the collagen produced by the last. Your provider will recommend a plan based on what you are treating.

What is the difference between PDRN and Rejuran?

Both are regenerative treatments delivered through the micro-channels microneedling creates. PDRN is a polydeoxyribonucleotide that supports fibroblast activity, collagen production and calming inflammation. Rejuran uses polynucleotide technology to repair skin from within. Your provider will recommend the better fit for your skin.

When will I see results?

Skin often looks brighter within the first week, but the real change comes over the following weeks as collagen rebuilds. Results continue to develop with each session.
